Treimorfa will be even higher
Finally a compromise between the municipal architects and the skeleton’s investor who intends to develop the structure, has been reached. The Municipal Urban and Architectural Board has agreed for raising of the skeleton’s height by additional 20 meters.
It is possible that the project could be commenced in the mid 2010. The new face of the skeleton which has been already named as TreiMorfa Tower will appear to the eyes of the Cracovians in 2012. The new structure will be 110 meter high and its coping will be slender in order to avoid socialist architectural borrowings. The building will accommodate apartments, offices and a hotel.
Critical opinions can be still heard but we believe that an optimistic aura around the project will achieve a desired effect. It is high time to complete construction of this project which was commenced in the 70`s and discontinued due to the economic crisis. Unless, during implementation of this new project, a new crisis comes along…
